Delete your HomesBrain account

Last updated: September 11, 2026

You can delete your HomesBrain account and personal data at any time, either from inside the HomesBrain app or by emailing us. This page explains both routes, what is removed, and what we are required to keep.

1. Delete from inside the app

Deletion in the app is immediate and cannot be undone.

Pros:

  • Open the HomesBrain app and sign in.
  • Tap Profile in the bottom bar to open your settings.
  • Scroll to the red Danger zone and tap Delete my account (or open Your data and tap Delete).
  • Type DELETE to confirm and tap Delete.

Homeowners:

  • Open the HomesBrain app and sign in.
  • Tap Profile in the bottom bar to open your settings.
  • Scroll to the red Delete account card at the bottom and tap Delete.
  • Type DELETE to confirm and tap Delete.

You are signed out as soon as the deletion completes.

2. No longer have the app?

Email ilan@maverich.ai with the subject line Delete my HomesBrain account, sent from the email address on your account. If your account uses a phone number, include that number in the message and we will confirm by text before deleting. We complete verified requests within 30 days and reply when it is done.

3. What is deleted

For every account:

  • Your login (email, phone, Google or Apple sign-in link) and your ability to sign in.
  • Push notification tokens for your devices.
  • Your analytics identity; usage events are kept only in anonymised form.

Homeowner accounts also lose:

  • Your homeowner profile and contact channels (phone, email, notification preferences).
  • Your reminders, home memberships, and any invites or home-share invites you sent.
  • Your claim on your home. The home record itself is unclaimed, not destroyed, so it can be claimed again by a future owner.

Pro accounts also lose:

  • Business name, owner name, email, phone, logo and service area.
  • Your Google Business Profile link, Stripe payout connection and referral code.
  • Notification and review-request settings; your plan is ended.

4. What is kept, and why

  • Service records already delivered to a homeowner. A record of work done on a home belongs to that home's history, not to the account that created it. Jobs, equipment details and photos stay on the homeowner's record; when a Pro deletes their account, their business is shown as "Deleted account" on those records.
  • Invoices and payment records. Kept for as long as tax, accounting and payment-processing rules require (in the United States typically up to seven years), then deleted.
  • Text-message consent and opt-out logs. Kept as required by telecommunications rules (TCPA), so a STOP request continues to be honoured after your account is gone.
  • Security and audit logs. Kept for a limited period to detect fraud and abuse, then deleted on our normal retention schedule.
